Happy Fourth of July

I so needed today. This has been one of the most wonderful, relaxing days that our family has had in weeks...maybe months. Our calendar for today was completely empty. We all slept in, and then had a laid back morning.

The kids watched Superman, which they loved. After a blissfully long naptime, we went swimming, and then came home for pizza and bomb pops. After dinner, we took the kids for a bike ride, and then back home for sparklers. It sounds busy, but it's been so nice just being a family and not having to rush off and go anywhere. We need to do this more often.
