Ladybug Dress

Well, my first sewing project in a long while was SUPER simple. When we were at the fabric store earlier this week, Megan saw this ladybug fabric that she just HAD to have. (Ray's nickname for Megan is "ladybug", so she wants anything she sees with a ladybug on it). It was on sale, so I bought it.

The wonderful thing? It was the pre-shirred fabric, so it's basically a one seam dress. I had to cut about 6 inches off of the bottom, and used that extra fabric for the straps and the hair ribbons. Easy as pie and she LOVES it. I'll probably make her a few more from that kind of fabric since it's so easy to work with. The dress took less than an hour start to finish.
