Baby Shower

This afternoon was my baby shower. I will admit that I left completely overwhelmed by the love that my friends showed me. My dear friend Heather put the shower together, and did such a fabulous job. She made the table centerpieces (which were SO cute and SO tasty), and she spent so much time working on invitations, decorations, and delegating other jobs to other people.

Many of my good friends were there, and it was such a fun time of fellowship and fun. I was given so much, that we had to use both vehicles to get it all home!

Probably the most special part was when I was handed a gift that my mom sent all the way from Nebraska. She sent a couple of cute little clothes, but she also sent a beautiful Willow Tree figurine. It was so thoughtful, and I love it so much. Unfortunately, there is no good picture of me opening it, but towards the end of the slideshow, there is a not-so-great picture of me with it. She also sent the little giraffe sleeper, which I love.

It was such a special day, and I'll never forget the hard work that was put in to make everything come together.
