Denim Jumper

Yesterday I finished this little denim jumper for Megan. I raided my stash, and so I spent NOTHING on it! Everything that I used (including the pattern) is something I found in my freshly organized closet.

I found the bird applique pattern for free at "The Handmade Dress", and just altered the size a bit so I could have different sized birds.

As you can see, the jumper is kind of big on her, but I'm okay with that because maybe it will last through the summer this way!

And of course, a few pics... Sorry they aren't fantastic. It was overcast this morning when I took them, and she wasn't in the mood for pictures after church.

Ack! She is so cute! The jumper looks great!

(Although if you had outlined the birds in puffy paint it would have looked much more home-schoolerish. I'm just saying. LOL)

and very "crafty/chic"...not homeschoolerish in the least.

love the jumper... and really, if you wanted to be homeschoolerish you would've made yourself a jumper to match
