In addition to the bag I made this afternoon, I also make matching clothes for me and Megan. Obviously I made the skirt for myself, and the dress for her. Both were made using patterns, and both are fully lined of course. We wore them to church tonight, and got many compliments.

I made a new bag this afternoon. I was just playing around and kind of experimenting with some ideas. I like how it turned out, and it gave me plenty of ideas on how to make the next one better.

I made myself a skirt last night/this morning. I got a ton of this fabric on sale and am in love with it. I used a pattern, and it was SO easy. My first successful zipper (which was given to me by Aunt Janice...thank you!). I really love how it turned out and will be making more skirts for myself from this pattern. This week I'll be sewing a matching dress for Megan, and we'll wear them to church next Sunday. This is the only picture that I have that I'm willing to make public (even though it's ridiculously silly), but I'll try to get some good ones next week and post them so you can actually see the skirt and fabric. It has a bit of a flare to it, as you can see.

Today I'm supposed to be working on curtains for the kids' rooms. But, I decided it would be more fun to make a new outfit for Megan. Another really simple one. The shirt is fully lined with the polka dot fabric. The little bow on the top is white ribbon with purple polka dots (the same ribbon is used on her headband).

Kindergarten graduation was tonight, so we got to see the bonnets in action. The little girls looked adorable in them, so I had to share them with you.

So this dress is nothing new, but it's the first time it's appearing in my blog. I made it about a month ago from some scraps that Aunt Janice sent me, and some cream fabric I had laying around. I used a pattern for it, but changed it so much that it doesn't look at all like it was supposed to. The original dress didn't have panels on the skirt, but I'm in love with the way they look. Anyhow, it's completely lined, and looks adorable on her.

I made seven little Pilgrim bonnets today. Started this morning at 6am, and finished around 9pm. Of course, I did take 3 little pink-eyed kids to the doctor, and I did have a short nap, and I did stop to eat a few times.

These items are actually fairly recent...made in the last month or so.

I found this cow fabric on sale for very cheap, and I knew right away that I needed to make Megan a little bag with it. The lining and strap are from a pink, fuzzy bathrobe that I recycled. It ended up being the perfect size for her cup.

My mother in law and I will be attending a mother/daughter banquet this Friday. The theme is "The Contents of Me", and each person was asked to bring a handcrafted bag using that theme. These are the bags I made for us. The bags are square bottomed, and are fully lined. I made the flowers to match the lining.
